In the last 35 years, Duane has worked on well over £1 billion of investment in NHS infrastructure, including:

Development of the Outline Business Case for the development of the estate at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust – £1 billion of investment proposed across the Trust’s sites at Watford General, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans City Hospitals as part of the New Hospital Programme
Leadership of the redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton (the “3Ts Programmme”) for 12 years – from Outline Business Case through to advanced stages of implementation
Led the redevelopment of the North Middlesex Hospital redevelopment through Full Business Case and to construction
Led the development of Queen’s Hospital Romford, through procurement and into construction
Deputy Project Director for the Jubilee Wing at Leeds General Infirmary
Project Director for the redevelopment of Chapel Allerton Hospital in Leeds
Project Lead for the operational commissioning of the South Wing at St. Thomas’ Hospital and the transfer of two other hospitals to that site
Development of the brief for the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London
Masterplanning and brief development for the redevelopment of Bedford General Hospital
Project assistant for the development of the Blood Donor Clinic in Luton
